David L. Jackson is a highly accomplished and dynamic educator, curriculum developer,
international workshop facilitator, author, and co-founder of The Project T.H.U.G
Fellowship program. Born in Miami Dade County to Jamaican immigrant parents, he has
emerged as a young mover and shaker in his home county and a true symbol of equity in
educational access and opportunity.
Jackson’s academic journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Upon earning the
prestigious Posse Academic and Leadership Scholarship, he completed his undergraduate
degree in history and secondary education at Syracuse University. Additionally, he
pursued studies in Paris and made noteworthy contributions with two research
publications. As an audacious student activist, Jackson fearlessly championed the rights
of those whose voices had been silenced. A theme that would continue to follow him his
entire life.
As an international workshop facilitator, keynote speaker, and curriculum/instructional
designer, Jackson has engaged students of all ages through interactive activities and
enlightening lectures. His workshops have spanned diverse fields, catering to individuals
in the Juvenile sector, college students, adult learners, and even the secondary education
realm.
As Associate Director of Learning and Delivery at Digital Promise Global, Jackson
implements equitable technology utilization, ensuring that educational systems are
well-equipped to embrace the “new normal” within public education. Working as a
consultant, partnering with educational institutions across the United States to develop
inclusive and accessible classrooms prioritizing equity. Jackson collaborates closely with
the Department of Education, lending his expertise to create guidance for state
lawmakers.
As an accomplished author, Jackson has captivated audiences worldwide with his
self-published memoir titled “UNTITLED: Welcome To My Mind,” which profoundly
explores identity. But, his most profound passion lies in the work of Project, an
organization he co-founded in his hometown of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
The Project T.H.U.G fellowship program -aims to develop well-equipped young Black
